Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biosciences Major Cancer Biology from the University of Heidelberg and the DKFZ. In his PhD research, he is working on developing novel therapeutic strategies against rare pediatric tumor entities, focusing on deciphering the oncogenic epigenomic landscape for therapeutic vulnerabilities. Outside of the lab, Nick enjoys spending time in the nature, hiking in the mountains and listening to Pink Floyd.
